Jacobs, Jacobs & Shannon is a personal injury law firm that has been serving clients in the New Haven area since 1967. Our origin however, is in the more distant past. Israel Jacobs — father of Richard Jacobs, grandfather of Steven Jacobs, and a first-generation American — began practicing law as the First World War was ending. As a boxer, he fought for prizes in the ring. As a lawyer, he fought for justice. He had nerves of steel, ice in his veins, and fire in his belly.
